Future volumes will include Matti's own family and her dog cousins who were all adopted for different reasons. These stories will talk about pet adoption, aging, doctor's visits and even a story of a dog being a little different from the others. It will teach children that it is ok to be different.
Matti's next story, "I'm a Granddog!", will bring the idea of aging to children. How the older family member is seen through Matti's eyes. Even though grandma moves slower and sometimes forgets your name, grandma still loves you very much. Matti loves her grandma a lot!
